Experience: Participants will learn about the folk lore and culture of the Ozark people. Using the resources of the Ozark Folk Center, participants will choose two or three hands-on experiences in Ozark craft making such as making an oak basket, making a corn husk doll or learning more about herbal gardening and medicines. There will also be group presentations on shape note singing, folk dancing, cowboy poetry and much more. Participants will leave with a better understanding and appreciation of Ozark culture and craftsmanship and will have experienced worship and fellowship in one of the most beautiful areas of the Ozarks.

Mission service: Participants will help build a labyrinth at Mt. Eagle Christian Center or help construct a wheelchair ramp for a needy community resident.

Rooms: Double occupancy with shared baths. Linens are not normally provided but can be requested for an additional $5.00 per person.

First meal: Dinner on Sunday, September 29
Last meal: Breakfast on Friday, October 4

Transportation: For those traveling by air, please use the Little Rock National Airport, look for an individual with a Mt. Eagle sign in the baggage area. There will be two pick-ups---one for early arrivals on Saturday at 4 PM and one for regular arrivals on Sunday at 3 PM. Directions for those driving will be provided upon registration.
