at Heifer Ranch (Perryville, Arkansas)
Feb. 2-4, 2001

An orientation/training weekend for individual volunteers took place at Heifer Ranch, Perryville, Arkansas, February 2-4, 2001. In addition to an informational tour by representatives of Heifer Project International, the 18 potential individual volunteers and seven staff persons participated in Bible study and worship as well as presentations on theology of mission, cross-cultural adaptation, health concerns, and practical and financial considerations in preparation for volunteer mission service.
