Every four years the United Methodist Women’s Assembly involves close to 10,000 United Methodist Women.  And with every new woman attending the event, a new member commits herself to the mission of United Methodist Women!  So why not use next May as a time to recruit new members?

 Invite someone to come with you to the United Methodist Women’s Assembly in Anaheim, California, May 4-7, 2006 and “Rise, Shine, Glorify God!”

The event includes Bible Studies and powerful worship each morning.  Dynamic speakers will motivate us, challenge us to action, and expand our minds and hearts.  We’ll hear women locally and globally tell their own stories about how Christ’s mission has changed lives, empowered others, and brought peace with justice.  Close to 60 afternoon workshops on a topic will engage you in thought and dialogue.  Then together, we’ll enjoy each other as we’re entertained through music, drama, dance and more each evening.

This will be enhanced with the friends you’ll make, the women you’ll talk with from around the world, the programs and projects you’ll learn about, and the supportive community you’ll feel.   Come yourself and Invite Another!
