Give Special Mission Recognitions Today
Special Mission Recognition -- a way for individuals or United Methodist Women units to honor individuals for outstanding mission service -- can be given for $35 (previously $30) or more. Each recipient receives a certificate and pin.
Each pin features a cross within a gold oval. When $50 or more is given, the pins also have small jewels. For example, a pin for a $1,000 gift has a diamond. Local, district and conference United Methodist Women treasurers can order the certificates and pins, which make special Christmas and birthday gifts for family and friends who are committed to mission. They are also a good way to recognize those who lead unit programs and coordinate special events.
