Below is a special publication by the Women's Division about the most recent work of United Methodist Women and the division. The goal is to let the Church and others know the stories of our organization and our critical mission with women, children and youth.

Within this piece, you will find:

news and highlights on the quadrennial United Methodist Women’s Assembly and the impact of the event on women of every age, race, and nationality;
a column from Joyce D. Sohl, deputy general secretary for the Women’s Division, as she discusses the importance of accountability of the organization;
stories on the most recent actions and mission programs of the Women’s Division from the April board of directors meeting;
updates on the Children’s Campaign and other advocacy efforts; and
financial interpretation information.

This special publication replaces your May-June issue of the Mission Update newsletter. Hopefully, you can use it at schools of mission, annual conferences, in local churches and units, and throughout the denomination to communicate the mission, ministry and stories of United Methodist Women. It can be a great interpretational tool.

Please share this with members of your unit and mission team. Then, go beyond the normal network and share the insert with others. United Methodist Women members are a community of women who are doing wonderful things to make this world a better place for women, children and youth in the name of Jesus Christ. Help us tell the story!
