The Younger Group's Discussion
About "Jesus Visits Martha and Mary"

Baker:
Does this mean it's better to read my Bible than clean my room?

Juan José:
I guess Jesus was giving women permission to be his followers too, just like the male disciples.

Jessica:
If you did either one of those things before you run out of the house to go skateboarding, Mom would be awed.

Tanyika: Sometimes I have to do dishes when my sister has a big test. Carol always panics before a test at school.

Maggie:
Women still had to do all the kitchen work, so I guess there were either women with the disciples or else the guys cooked.

Robert:
No matter who cooked, I bet everyone was happy when the food was ready!

Robert:
James and I sometimes do the dishes and we even cook. Guys should know how to do that stuff too. I wonder if Jesus ever cooked?

Various voices:
Makes me hungry now!
Let’s go get pizza - or ice cream!
Check it out!
