Many of us do not know a lot about how the Bible was first composed and came to be the book that we know today. The Bible's origins and formation are a mystery to us.

In Part I of our study, we have an opportunity to learn answers to the following questions:

How do we look at our world? How did the people in ancient times look at the world? How do our worldviews affect the way we understand the Bible?

Where did the Bible come from? Who passed it on and wrote it down?

How and why were books included or excluded?

Which books were included or excluded?

How has the biblical message spread? What are some of the translations of the Bible?

How the Bible has sustained people of faith through the ages? How will the Bible carry us into the next millennium?

We invite you to join us on a journey that we pray will deepen your knowledge of this Sacred Book and strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ.
