Since being elected as the head of the Women’s
Division, I have had opportunities for many
blessings and great inspiration from women in
mission who love Jesus. One came at General
Conference when all the participants celebrated
the 90th birthday of Eunice Jones Mathews. Her
life’s witness includes being a missionary, an
author, a tireless worker on behalf of peace and
good will, and her partnerships with very famous
Methodists.
