Responsively Yours: Happy 300th Birthday John Wesley
May Response Magazine
This year is the 300th anniversary of John
Wesley=s birth. Born June 28, 1703, Mr. Wesley
was one of 19 children B- 10 survived into
adulthood -- of Susanna and Samuel Wesley. Samuel
Wesley, a parish priest of the Church of England,
was a strict man. He had little material wealth
so his family lived in poverty most of the time.
Susanna Wesley, the daughter of a priest, had
received a sound education, which was unusual for
a girl at that time. She was well read and
supervised the education of her children.

Crossing Boundaries: Response Does a New Thing May Response Magazine
It is the second year for the Mexico study. The
May 2002 issue of Response was devoted to
articles on Mexico. The articles in this issue
are offered as a complement to that issue. The
focus here is on concerns along the Mexico-U.S.
