Highlights of National Gathering
The Women’s Division (the national policy-
making arm of United Methodist Women) sponsored a
National Gathering of Teens and
College/University Women in December 2000 to
develop leadership among younger women members
and to launch its emphasis on membership in
United Methodist Women for these age groups.
780 teen women, college/university women and
adult women working with these young women
gathered in St. Charles , Illinois for a
fantastic four-day event featuring worship, small
group discussions, workshops, fellowship,
activities and pure fun.
