  • Jesus' Path to Restoring Justice

Has our society become the angry crowd pushing Jesus again and again on the steps toward crucifixion?

  • The Poor Are Not the Enemy
Our society justifies high profits for a few and poverty for many by developing myths about those who are poor. One myth about the poor is that they won't work because they lack initiative and are lazy. These attitudes aren't new.

  • Installation Services for United Methodist Women
An installation service may have several facets: It recognizes the added responsibilities officers have; it may charge them with a task; it may require a commitment from them and/or from the group that has elected them. Often a token or gift is presented to the officers symbolizing a spiritual gift or a hope or a vision. The service is often in the form of a worship service with hymns and prayers signifying the nature of our organization and the spiritual aspect of our work.
