Old Testament

*Leviticus 19:17-18 Love your neighbor as yourself. Do not take advantage of them or hate them.
Numbers 35:20 If a person hates someone and kills them, that person is guilty of murder and is to be put to death.
2 Samuel 22:3 My Savior, thou savest me from violence.
Job 8:22 Those that hate you shall be clothed in shame.
Psalm 11:15 The wicked and those who loveth violence, their soul hateth.
" 13 All should live in harmony.
" 34:21 They that hate the righteous shall be condemned.
" 45:7 You love what is right and hate what is evil.
" 119 Let your laws be laws for all and teach us to love your laws.
" 140:11 Evil shall hunt the violent man.
Proverbs 8:13 To honor the Lord is to hate evil; I hate pride and arrogance, evil ways and false words.
" 16:29 A person of violence enticeth a neighbor and leadeth that neighbor in a way that is not good.
" 28:17 A person that doeth violence (or is laden with the blood of any person) shall flee into the pit.
Jeremiah 22:3 Do no wrong. Do no violence to the sojourner.
Amos 5:15 Hate what is evil, love what is right, and see that justice prevails in the courts.
Obadiah 10 For the violence done to thy brother, Jacob, shame shall cover thee.

Matthew 1 :29 I choose Christ's way of conquering by love.
" 5:43-48 Love your enemies.
" 6:25-34 God's love is so strong there is no need to worry; he will take care of us. Use our energy to love.
" 15:19 Love not hate. The heart knows when it displeases God.
22:34-40 We are all neighbors.
28: 16-20 Jesus' love is everlasting. Pray for those who commit hate crimes so they may know God's love.
Mark 9:33-35 Who's the "best"? The "greatest"?
Luke 3:14 Extort from no person by violence.
" 5: 12-16 Scripture like this proves love of Christians. Let us all live it out.
" 10:25-37 Parable of the Good Samaritan. Love your neighbor as yourself. Show mercy. Have compassion like the one who stopped to help.
John 13:34 " As I have loved you, so you must love one another." No room for hate.

*Romans 2: 1-11 It is evil; who are we to think we are better than others.
" 12:9-18 Don't curse them, pray that God will bless them. Hate what is evil, hold on to what is good. Love one another warmly as Christians eager to show respect for one another.
1 Corinthians 12: 12-26 We are all one body and we need each other.
" 13:1-3 God is love. We all need it.
Ephesians 4:15-16 No love is shown in hate crimes, we work together as one body.
Philippians 4:6-7 Better to trust in God and know peace than to hate.
Hebrews 1:9 Better to trust in God and know peace than to hate. "You love what is right and hate what is wrong. That is why God, your God, has chosen you and has given you the joy of an honor far greater than he gave to your companions."
" 10:16 God has given us the ability to know what is right.
*1 John 4:7-21 If someone says they love God, but hate their brother or sister they lie. You cannot not love God and hate your brother or sister. God is love. (Love is mentioned 27 times in this portion of scripture.)
