Accommodations

Designed as a place to retreat and meet, Alma Mathews House offers eigthteen sleeping rooms -- twelve doubles, six singles – and an affordable option amidst skyrocketing prices of Manhattan hotels.   Most rooms are available with shared bathrooms and few with private baths at different rates.  They contain closets, dressers, and a desk for study.  Alma Mathews is handicap accessible.

Throughout the day, groups will gather in a common lounge for television, coffee and tea; individuals will head to the courtyard for study, reading and reflection; or friends will explore the unique atmosphere and eating places of Greenwich Village. 

For the guest’s convenience small kitchenettes and refrigerators are available on various floors.
