   In an effort to stem internal migration from rural communities to urban areas, the Khanya Programme offers training for young people in agricultural and building skills.

   Many participants in the Khanya Programme have begun gardening. The program’s training centre provides education in sustainable agriculture techniques and an experimental garden.
