Hygiene boxes - really practical help
for Liberia

The Evangelisch-methodistische Kirche (United Methodist
Church) Weltmission (www.emkweltmission.de) in Germany
have launched their 2003 Christmas appeal. Funds raised
through this appeal will go to UMCOR Sierra Leone and
UMCOR Liberia to put together hygiene kits for
distribution amongst Liberian Internally Displaced Persons
(IDPs) and Liberian refugees currently living in camps in
Sierra Leone. Children in Liberia will really benefit
from these few practical items: A hand towel
A washcloth
Soap
A toothbrush and toothpaste
A nail file
Adhesive bandages A real Christmas surprise for the
children of Liberia! Your donation will enable UMCOR
staff in Sierra Leone und Liberia to make up hygiene kits.
These vitally important hygiene
boxes are filled with locally
purchased products and tailored to meet the needs of the
children of refugees. Each hygiene box costs just EUR
10,00.
