Sanja Puhalo

Sanja Puhalo is a Serb returnee to Zitomislici, former Mostar South Municipality. During the war she and her family lived as refugees in Indjija, in Northern Serbia. They returned to their pre war home in 2002 upon reconstruction of their home.

Ms Puhalo lives together with her parents. Their sole income comes from small-scale agricultural production. Ms Puhalo has experience in flower and vegetable production and she wanted to continue with this activity. She applied to UMCOR Mostar for a subsidized loan to purchase greenhouse equipment. This business has proven successful and has augmented the family income by 48%.
