Through its office in Afghanistan and with its ecumenical partners, the United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) is working to help the people of Afghanistan to recover from twenty-three years of wars, ethnic conflict, repressive regimes, drought, famine and earthquakes.

Please write checks to UMCOR with "UMCOR Advance #602225, Afghanistan Emergency" written on the memo line. You may also give Schools for Afghan Children. Give through your local United Methodist church or mail contributions to: UMCOR, 475 Riverside Dr., Room 330, New York, NY 10115. Call 1-800-554-8583 to make a credit card donation. Health Kits and School Kits are also needed.
