A preliminary meeting of disaster response agencies including UMCOR is being held Friday, 3/2 at 1:30 P.M. As further assessments are made, we will have more information about the disaster response being provided.
Quite a bit of structural damage has happened to older buildings. Estimates of damage to private residences and contents are difficult at this point. There has been about a damage estimate of over a billion dollars to primarily highway-related and government-related buildings.
