UMCOR has sent funds to the Liberia Annual Conference to build wells and latrines at ten United Methodist schools. The people of Lawrence County, Tennessee continue to rebuild from the devastating floods of last summer. UMCOR has sent a grant to the Tennessee Annual Conference to support ongoing recovery efforts. UMCOR continues to respond to victims of the earthquakes in Colombia in a variety of ways. Most recently, UMCOR has sent a financial grant to our ecumenical partner ACT (Action by Churches Together) to join in their relief efforts, and UMCOR staff are in the process of purchasing tents for victims who remain homeless.
