UMCOR is sending specially made gift kits for people in five communities in the Dominican Republic which were devastated by Hurricane Georges. These are health kits with an extra gift included that will be distributed on Three Kings Day, or Epiphany, which is a major holiday in the Dominican Republic. Fourteen interfaith recovery groups are responding to the victims of last fall's flooding in Texas. Rebuilding will begin in earnest after the first of the year.
