   UMCOR is working with ecumenical partners to provide famine relief for people in Eritrea. UMCOR grants will help provide food, blankets, soap, kitchen utensils, shelter, medicine and agricultural assistance for people affected by the war and drought.    In response to flooding caused by strong storms in southern Chile, UMCOR has sent a grant to the Methodist Church in Chile to provide food and blankets for flood victims. Your support of UMCOR's International Disaster Response,#982450-8, makes this response possible.

   As part of the ongoing response to people affected by the war in Kosovo, UMCOR has sent a grant to support a multi-ethnic camp for children and youth in Macedonia. This camp is part of the reconciliation and peace building work, which is an important aspect of recovery efforts.
