Reverend Harvey Palmer is an ordained Elder in the North Georgia Conference and currently serves as the District Superintendent in the Rome district.  Previously,
He served as the Associate Director of Church Development for the North Georgia Conference.  Harvey is husband to Shereen Jones Palmer and has five beautiful children and nine precious grandchildren.
   




   

   

   




   

   




   




   

   
Harvey received his Bachelor of Arts from Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was recognized as salutatorian with the honors of Magna Cum Laude.  He
received his Master’s of Divinity from Candler School of
Theology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia.  

Harvey has served pastoral appointments in Barnesville, Newnan and Rome Georgia.   He is a former chairperson of the Rome- Floyd County
Human Relations Commission, a recipient of the “Humanitarian Award” in Floyd County, a recipient of the “Heart of the Community Award”, and a board member of numerous organizations.  He is also listed in “Who’s Who” in Executives and Professionals in
