   Adam Hamilton is Senior Pastor of the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, Kansas, and an ordained Eleder in the Missouri West Conference.
Hamilton started the church with four people

   Rebecca) in the fall of 1990.  Eight years later the church averages over 3,000 per Sunday in worship, two-thirds of which were previously unchurched.

Adam
recently completed a study of twenty of America’s largest churches, and he brings with him insights gained from interviews with these pastors.  He is a graduate of Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University where he received the Kaufmann
Award in Social Ethics.  He has also been honored with the United Methodist Publishing House’s Circuit Rider Award and the Harry Denman Award.
