A General Advance Special

Gifts made to this Advance Fund go directly to support ministry with Hispanic people, at the local level, reflecting the two-pronged emphasis of the National Plan for Hispanic Ministry and the Plan's specific goals:

Congregational Development

Development of 100 new Hispanic congregations and 1000 faith communities, revitalization of 100 existing congregations, and the establishment of 500 new church school extension programs.

AND

Community Ministries

Establishment of 3000 new outreach ministries that respond to the social and physical needs in local Hispanic communifies.

Gifts to the Challenge Fund also help deploy lay missioners and support pastor-mentors as they work to develop congregations and community ministry programs.
