Lucknow, India region: A student from Isabella Thoburn College's AIDS Awareness Center for Counseling, Education and Training (AACCET) visits with a woman living at Lisieux Shanti Niketan, a Roman Catholic hospice for people with HIV/AIDS. The home is run by the Medical Sisters of St. Joseph. In India, women who have been infected with HIV are often abandoned by their families, much more so than men.
