The Missionary Gift of Love

"Why don't you include more articles about United Methodist missionaries in the church's mission magazine?" the staff members of New World Outlook hear from time to time as we travel throughout the church.

Well, here is an entire issue with articles by and about missionaries. Missionaries who serve with the General Board of Global Ministries include people from a variety of cultures and ethnic backgrounds. They serve in areas all across the globe, in Lithuania, Bolivia, Zimbabwe, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Chile, the Philippines, and South Korea. They serve both as lay professionals and as clergy.

And, wherever they serve, they bring the missionary gift of love--the love of God in Christ that prompts their service.
