MISSION STATEMENT

The Methodist Guest House welcomes all organizations, denominations and persons with the understanding that the purpose of this facility is to provide safe, clean, pleasant, and inexpensive lodging that is operated under the values of Christian principles for volunteers and staff coming to or in Haiti to be in Christ's mission with the Methodist Church of Haiti and other affiliated organizations.

WATER ISSUES

Water is Finite - Please Use It Sparingly

Cistern Water is Treated with Chlorine - Do Not Drink From the Taps

Drinking / Cooking Water is Treated with an Ionizer Purifier and Filtered

Drinking Water is Available in the Coolers - Please use Re-Usable Cups/Bottles

SAFETY & SECURITY

The Front Gate is locked from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

For Your Safety Please Do Not Leave the Premises Alone

Guard Dog (JR) is Loose on Premises from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

NO Swimming Alone - NO Lifeguard - Swim at Own Risk

Please Provide Own Swim Towel or Pay Towel Fee of 25¢

NO Climbing on the Building Roof or Carport by Guests

NO Smoking, Alcohol or Illegal Drugs on Premises

GUEST RESPECT

NO Solicitation of Guests on Premises

Guests May Request to Purchase Available Items

Please Do Not Place Items on Empty Beds

Please Respect Each Guest's Space and Belongings

Guests Will Not be Contacted by Staff Unless the Guest Gives

The MGH and UMVIM Coordinators Will Make Every Effort to Provide Security. We Are Not Responsible for Missing or Broken Items Belonging to the Guests or Staff.
