A Handbook: Coming to Haiti in Mission


A complete generic Haiti Handbook in booklet format in now available to you to download as one complete word processing file. It is a total of twelve 8 ½ x 11 landscape pages printed front and back. It is already formatted so that when printed front and back you then can fold it into a 5 ½ x 8 ½ booklet with a cover and 22 "pages". You can customize it to meet your needs and make copies. It is available in two formats: Word Perfect (6/7/8) and MS Word 97.

NOTE: The files have been formatted for printing on an HP 890C Desk Jet printer. Prior to printing, you need to re-format the booklet to your printer and review each page to verify that the page layout is correct.

The booklet contains the following information:

Front Cover People of all ages and faiths come to Haiti to answer Christ's call to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, give shelter to the homeless, heal the sick, care for widows and nurture children. People also come to Haiti to build cross-cultural relationships while offering their time, talents, energy and financial resources to the people of Haiti.

Instructions to Download the Files: Click on the filename noted below and it will start a process that will download the file to "your" default directory. You need to answer yes to the file transfer options. Then, go to your respective Word Processing software and start your program. Select the file from the downloaded directory or folder and open the file. When you are satisfied that it is properly formatted, print as necessary.
