Brief Description of Ministry:
Since our jail does not allow any material with staples into the cell area, all written material must be rebound before distribution. Our senior arts and crafts group, FRInS (Friendship, Recreation, Inspiration, and Service) receives 60 Upper Room devotional books English and 25 in Spanish. At their regular meetings they extract the staples, punch holes in each book, and tie them together with short pieces of binding twine. We then deliver them to the jail chaplain's office once every two months.
