Brief Description of Ministry:
Conference committee in existence for three years. Committe of twelve has spent considerable time building networks and educating the conference about prison ministry needs and opportunities. Holding regional conference on aftercare for formerly incarcerated April fifth of 2003. Presently assist persons leaving Winfield Correctional Facility, facilitate Disciple Bible Study in prisons, adminstrate LifeLine Prayer Connection where church groups pray for and write incarcerated persons. Provide some financial and transition assistance in transition to freedom.
