Brief Description of Ministry:
Provide weekly ecumenical worship services for all inmates plus six Catholic services. Provide weekly Bible studies for all inmates. Provide classes in parenting, communication, anger management, meditation, health care (especially for people who are HIV positive or who have AIDS, Hepatitis C. Provide counseling for housing, employment and medical services when inmate is released. Get people into residential drug and alcohol treatment centers. Provide clothing, backpacks, housing resources for inmates when they leave. One on one pastoral counseling. Staff of one full time Chaplain, 140 volunteers, 5 seminary students who are doing advanced field placement work and C.P.E. training.
