Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency
Prevention (OJJDP): A major focus of the Office?s work is providing
information to the public on juvenile justice. On their site you get links
to statistics, grant form, publications, and events. See: Guide for Implementing
the Balanced and RJ Model (BARJ Project) Shay Bilchik, Dec. 1998 Guide
defines the balanced approach for Restorative Justice to have 3 goals:
accountability, competency development and community safety. Each of these
is addressed individually and collectively with helpful examples of programs
that fit each category.
The National Criminal Justice Reference
Service (NCJRS) has a wealth of information on criminal and juvenile
justice in the world, providing services to an international community
of policymakers and professionals. NCJRS is a collection of clearinghouses
supporting all bureaus of the U.S. Department of Justice.
