Commitment Description and Application

The role and responsibilities of the youth and young adult Leadership Council are:

To commit to one year of service to the Had Enough Leadership Council
To provide input and ideas from the youth/young adult perspective on the website tools and published content of Had Enough
Contribute ideas and insight for accomplishing the goals of Had Enough
Contribute creative content to the movement
Attend conference calls with the council and an annual meeting to review the movement’s direction
Provide guidance/feedback to staff on Had Enough content and the effectiveness of Had Enough programming
Plan for Had Enough in the present and in the future

Youth and Young Adults selected for the Leadership Team will gain:

Experience and references to use for college and/or employment
A network of global friends also working on the movement
Satisfaction from contributing to the global legacy of The United Methodist Church in responding to alcohol and other drugs issues
An opportunity to express views and utilize abilities creatively for a wide audience
