Spin The Globe
Not too long ago there were no Sunday school books for Olivia and her friends. They learned about the Bible from the pastor’s sermons.

But some people in her church, the Iglesia Evangelica Metodista en Bolivia (the Bolivian Methodist Church), thought children should hear about God in their own words. They started the National Christian Education Project. The project gave money to print stories and drawings about the Bible.

The booklets are given to all Methodist churches. Also, the Methodist churches have schools that teach reading, writing, and math. Students who go to Methodist schools – even if they don’t go to the churches – use “Good News for a New Day” in their studies. This is how they learn to become Christians.
