Egyptian on CamelYes, the small intestines are about 25 feet long. The disease called “dysentery” is a disease that is caused by an infection of the intestines. No matter what you eat or drink, nothing will stay in your body.

I didn’t think the baby would live.

At the clinic we gave the baby boiled water with sugar and slat mixed in it. The doctor gave him some medicine. Then I told the mother, “It is in God’s hands.”

It was a miracle! The next day the baby was better. The medicine helped the infection and the salt kept liquids inside his body.

I’m writing to tell you this story because you all helped to save that baby. You gave money to our clinic through the Christian’s Fund for Christian Mission. We used it to buy medicines and pay a doctor. Your hands became God’s hands. Praise God! Thank you!

Love, Mrs. Garas
