Task force plans restorative justice training events

STAMFORD, Conn. (UMNS) – Five training events on restorative justice ministries are being planned for United Methodists in 1999.

The denomination's Restorative Justice Ministries Inter-agency Task Force is organizing the events. Dates and locations are Feb. 11-13 in Nashville, Tenn.; Feb. 25-27 in Oklahoma City; March 11-13 in Minneapolis-St. Paul; April 22-24 in New York; and May 13-15 in Los Angeles.

The events will provide training, resource support, networking and community building for United Methodists interested in criminal justice and restorative justice ministries.
