For Children Only
But he was very sad. His mom had just told him that he could not go to his school anymore. She said that she and his dad didn’t have enough money to pay. He liked school; he liked to color and he liked to hear the Bible stories. He liked to sing “Jesus Loves Me” and to hear the little boy who gave his lunch to Jesus.

Then Jason got an idea. “I know what,” he thought to himself. “I’ll go to school on my own. I’ll run away to school.”

And sure enough that’s what he did. The next morning he got up, dressed himself, and started walking to his school, Covenant Education Center in Shiprock. A kind adult found him and took him to school. When the principal heard the story, he gave Jason a scholarship. Now Jason is happy and he can continue to go to school. He doesn’t need to run away again.
