Become a part of a winning team and brand the vision, coordinate the marketing efforts of Global Ministries. Global Ministries is the mission agency of The United Methodist Church. Its offices are housed in The Interchurch Center, at 475 Riverside Drive in New York City.
The Mission Communications department of Global Ministries is now seeking a Marketing Resource Coordinator. The ideal candidate for this role would have a basic understanding of United Methodist Church structure and its constituency; as well as communications and marketing functions in a religious organization. This person would be primarily responsible for leading and coordinating the marketing efforts of Global Ministries in consultation with the Director of Marketing & Communications. Primary functions would also include developing a strong relationship with Cokesbury/United Methodist Publishing House; active development of Global Ministries’ presence on social media/networking sites; and determination in fulfilling the needs of Global Ministries’ resources for events, while maintaining inventory control.

A four year college degree is required; along with a minimum of two (2) years experience; ability to work within a team environment to develop and complete marketing plans for GBGM resources; proven social media/networking skills used as marketing. Three (3) to four (4) years retail management experience, including stockroom and inventory control; and high levels of proven customer service. Some travel required.
