Connect people around the world by coordinating the International Ministries Program for The Women’s Division of The General Board of Global Ministries. Global Ministries is the mission agency of The United Methodist Church. Its offices are housed at The Interchurch Center, at 475 Riverside Drive in New York City. Domestic and International Travel required, flexibility to work long hours and weekends.
The ideal candidate would be a seasoned professional with Three (3) to Five (5) years experience focused on Relationship Management. Responsible for coordinating and managing the programs and projects of International Ministries related to women, children and youth. This person would work to develop relationships with ecumenical partners; provide resource tools for leadership development and management; provide financial and social support to mission stewards; provide scholarships to educate the girl child, as well as other children and youth; and help mission programs to develop sustainability. Travel required.

A Bachelor’s Degree or comparable educational experience is required Applicants must also understand the principles of data collecting; be proficient in use of computer, basic skills and information technology. Must be able to communicate well in a variety of settings; to function well with a diverse workforce and with the whole church; and to work interdisciplinary with and understanding of United Methodist Women/Women’s Division mandate for mission. Must also have an understanding of culture, context, diversity, relationship building and getting to know partners.
