Connect people around the world by serving as the liaison between The Women’s Division of The General Board of Global Ministries, and The National Mission Institutions (NMI). Global Ministries is the mission agency of The United Methodist Church. Its offices are housed at The Interchurch Center, at 475 Riverside Drive in New York City. Domestic travel required, flexibility to work long hours and weekends.
The ideal candidate would be a seasoned communicator, focused on interpreting the missional role and functions of NMI throughout the Women’s Division, and the Denomination according to the spirit and gospel of Jesus Christ. This person would coordinate and manage the programs and projects of National Ministries related to women, children and youth; including compliance; Participate in collaborative work efforts with constituency; bring leadership and focus to the team; as well as evaluate and monitor the programs effectiveness. Travel required.

A Bachelor’s Degree or comparable education. Applicant must also be able to communicate well in a variety of settings; to function well with a diverse workforce and with the whole church; and to work interdisciplinary with an understanding of United Methodist Women/ Women’s Division mandate for mission. Three (3) to Five (5) years of professional experience focused on Relationship Management; non-profit organization management and leadership development is required. Understanding culture, context, diversity, relationship building and getting to know partners.
