Description
This primary responsibility of the person in this position is to oversee management and administration of UMCOR, Salt Lake City (SLC) – including, but not limited to, ministry and work, personnel, facilities, programs, outreach, development, and financial operations. Essential job functions may include, but are not limited to, providing administrative leadership, providing programmatic and budgetary leadership, overseeing development and outreach through innovative, creative, and conceptual methods. Overseeing management of volunteer network, overseeing management of Depot Facilities and Grounds, with major accountability in managing the operations of the UMCOR SLC, in compliance with the Board’s policies and procedures dealing in accordance with UMCOR’s guidelines. Requisites
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in related field(s) with proven work experience and training. Masters or Advanced Degree preferred. Other specialized knowledge: Knowledge of the UMC and tenets. Must be a self-starter, able to multi-task and be flexible in management. Experience: three (3) years in a responsible management/administration position, focusing on one or more of the functions entailed: personnel; budget, finances; programmatic duties; marketing and promotion; development.
