Rules of I Can Survive's Discussion Group

1. "I Can Survive" is an electronic mailing list whose purpose is personal support. A goal of "I Can Survive" is to create a safe space for its community of users. Please participate in this list with this purpose in mind.

2. Use "I Can Survive" in the spirit in which it is provided -- one of love and concern. The grieving process may also be more intense, depending upon how fresh the cancer experience, such as those newly diagnosed or those experiencing recurrence. Especially during holiday periods, be especially sensitive to all of our members' needs.

3. Users cannot be personally abusive (flame) to any individual or group of people. Name calling is not OK. Hate messages are not allowed.

4. Netiquette Hints:
   a. Avoid typing your messages in COMPLETELY CAPITAL LETTERS. Using all capital letters usually is considered SHOUTING!
   b. When using message quoting, quote only as much of the message you are responding to as necessary for folk to follow your response.
