Gearing up to launch it s 15th successful year, The Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS is the first national, faith based week of HIV/AIDS education and awareness highlighting the important role churches play in addressing the HIV/AIDS crisis.

The Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS is modeled after the Harlem Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS established in 1989 by Pernessa C. Seele, CEO of The Balm In Gilead.
