Enabling AIDS Ministries in the United States

We encourage United Methodists to continue to be the Christ for persons infected with and affected by HIV/AIDS. We believe, along with Paul, that "there is nothing in death or life, in the realm of spirits or superhuman powers, in the world as it is or the world as it shall be, in the forces of the universe, in heights or depths--nothing in all creation that can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39), including HIV/AIDS.

The Mutti AIDS Fund

The Mutti AIDS Fund was established in 1991 in memory of two sons of Bishop Fritz and Etta Mae Mutti, Tim and Fred, who died of complications from HIV. Fritz Mutti was elected to the episcopacy in 1992 and serves in the South Central Jurisdiction.

Proceeds from this fund have gone to HIV/AIDS ministries throughout the United States where they assist in the development of new programs of education, outreach, and direct support while they continue and strengthen vital HIV/AIDS programs relied upon by those infected with and impacted by HIV.

You can support much-needed HIV/AIDS ministry throughout the United Methodist connection by making a tax-deductible contribution to:
