In response to recent events, the Evangelical Methodist Church of Argentina unites its voice to the clamor of nations for a true and just peace.

We condemn the atrocious terrorist attack that took the lives of hundreds of people in Madrid and left its consequences on the lives of family members, friends, the people of Spain, Europe and the entire world.

We pray for God to pour his comfort over those who today suffer more directly as a result of criminal violence and we commit ourselves to search for ways to respect and protect life, to engage in dialogue in spite of our differences and accept the diversities with which God has enriched us as human beings.

May Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, console the families of the victims and may he guide us to paths of justice.
