Connected in the Web
More and more missionaries are staying connected
with their supporting churches by posting their
activities on their websites. Some are even able
to post entries on a regular basis, like a
journal, known as blogging. Below are excerpts
from a number of missionary websites and blogs.
Some post photos of their work or have an
interactive feature for people to post their own
comments. Visit their websites for more
information.

Mission Leader Calls United Methodists To Build Vital, Confident Congregations for the Future
What image do United Methodists have of
themselves as a church today? What image do they
need to have if they are to both attract new
members and fulfill their mission in the world?
These questions were posed by the chief mission
official of The United Methodist Church in an
address dealing with how the global denomination
moves into the future, especially with regard to
the formation of new congregations and the
strengthening of existing one.

would have.
