The Changing Landscape of Mission
Not long ago, I participated in a training event
in Uganda. Participants in the training came
together from five different countries in East
Africa. I have stayed in touch with a few of
them;
we share pictures, audio recordings of the
training sessions, video, and links to news
stories via email discussing events in our
respective countries.

Facing the Facts: Death as a US "Social Disease"
Each year 18,000 people in the United States
die prematurely from preventable disease.
Poverty and unequal access to life-saving drugs
and medical care have made death itself a social
disease in the country. Our health-care system
is broken; many proposals for fixing it are
being put forth. Citizens are rallying at the
state level and meeting with legislators to
demand change.
