Missionary Minute: Easter Day April 16, 2006
In Luke 15, Jesus tells a familiar
parable: “Which one of you, having a hundred
sheep and losing one of them, does not leave the
ninety-nine in the wilderness and go after the
one that is lost until he finds it? When he has
found it, he lays it on his shoulders and
rejoices.”

Update: Africa Bombings
Like big cities everywhere, downtown Nairobi is a
crush of towering buildings, rushing people and
fast, honking cars. All these factors--the crowds,
the noise, the expense-- went into a decision to
hold last week's meeting of the East Africa Annual
Conference of The United Methodist Church outside
of the capital city of some two million residents.
