One tram and one subway ride from the Methodist Church of Milano is the Chiesa della Santa Maria delle Grazie, the home of Leonardo da Vinci’s, The Last Supper. Painted some 500 years ago, the artist offered his vision of the Holy Thursday meal. Leonardo’s use of lines and angles draws onlookers into the scene. Recently restored colors make the disciples’ faces, the glasses on the table, and the bread on the plates seem almost real.
