The radios are carried on foot for part of the journey from Maputo to villages cut off from the rest of the country by flood waters.

When no other vehicles were available, a farmer's tractor was enlisted to transport the radios a little closer to the people.

With washed-out roads and bridges, boats were the only means of transportation along part of the delivery route.

For those without rubber waders, bare feet were the only way to get from flooded spots to the roads.

Walking was more practical than using vehicles on much of the route used to deliver the radios.

Finally, some radios arrive at a distribution site.
